JOB: POSITION TITLE: PRICING ANALYST

POSITION LOCATION: WASHINGTON, DC

DEPARTMENT: FP&A

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for leading pricing review activities with senior management
and coordinating with program & international staff to determine pricing structure and strategy.
The Pricing Analyst undertakes special projects and other duties as assigned.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
•   Participate in the proposal pricing process as a key member of proposal team.
•   Work closely with Business Development, Programs, Contracts & Finance to ensure
accuracy and coordination of pricing data.
•   Prepare timely, accurate and compliant pricing models.
•   Lead pricing review with senior management and coordinate with program & international
staff to determine pricing structure and strategy.
•   Utilize processes and tools that result in compliant/quality pricing models.
•   Develop cost models, cost estimating processes, and cost assessment techniques.
•   Provide direction to subcontractors and proposal team members involved in proposal
preparation.
•   Support other pricing team members in preparing responses and review of work.
•   Review cost proposal submissions from program and field offices and coordinate
headquarter approval process.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
•   Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
•   4-6 years experience working in budget/spreadsheet design and analysis.
•   Proactive, self-directing work approach; High attention to detail.
•   Strong communication and organizational skills.
•   Ability to work within deadlines and frequently shifting priorities.
•   Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
•   Experience responding to USAID, Department of State and commercial solicitations.


Preferred:
•   3-4 years experience in international development assistance program pricing (may be
concurrent with preceding item).
•   Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, Impromptu, Cognos.
